All of us face challenges in our lives. Therapy is a way to learn skills that help us cope with, overcome and heal from problems that keep us from living a more fulfilling life. I believe that each of my clients has the capability to reach their goals, and I love working together to help them make positive changes! Each client is unique, and I find that by giving every person a safe, non-judgmental place to be themselves, I can help them understand what they would like to change and to move forward on their
chosen path.
I received my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland and gained experience working with adults, teens, youth and their families on issues of depression, anxiety, chronic illness, and ADHD. I take a down-to-earth approach, based on my education and life experiences, and I use a variety of methods to help my clients improve their mood and work toward positive goals. I care deeply about my clients and I am honored each time they choose me as their therapist.
