We are more than happy to get your out-of-network benefits and submit them as a courtesy. You are solely responsible for your own reimbursement.

We are in-network with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and BlueChoice.
Unfortunately, these services are not covered by insurance. You may use your health spending account, and we also offer Care Credit.
Our providers accept various insurances. Most are in-network with CareFirst, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare, while some accept Aetna, Maryland Medicaid, and Maryland Medicare.
We need to review your insurance plan to assess your coverage. Each plan has different deductibles, copays, and coinsurance.
If you wish to pay out of pocket, please contact our office. We can provide the rates for the specialist from whom you seek services.
Our team consists of members who meet only virtually, while others operate on a hybrid schedule that includes both in-person and virtual sessions. We recognize that each patient has different preferences in this regard, and we respect that!
You can either call our office or submit a contact form on our website. We will collect some demographic information to create your patient portal. After that, we will send you forms to complete online. These forms will help us match you with a provider who best meets your needs.
To become our patient, you must create an account on our portal and complete the necessary paperwork. Our system is called Optimantra. You can access the portal by clicking the icon in the top right corner of our website. Alternatively, you can visit us directly at .www.optimantra.com
You can easily reset your password if necessary. Your username will be the email associated with your account. Within your portal, you can view your forms and superbill history, upload documents, and send messages to your provider.
Once you finish the paperwork in your portal, your provider will contact you within a couple of days to schedule an appointment. For medication management and acupuncture appointments, the Client Relations Manager will arrange your scheduling after you’ve completed your paperwork.
Our billing and office hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Each of our clinicians sets their own schedules, so their hours and availability may vary. Once you complete your paperwork, a clinician will contact you to provide information about their available appointment times.
Our administrative staff is not available on weekends. However, some providers offer in-person and/or virtual appointments on weekends. Please check with your provider for their weekend availability.
We do not offer emergency services. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or visit your local emergency room. Our clinicians are available by appointment only. If you need to schedule a more urgent session and are not in immediate danger to yourself or others, you can contact your clinician, who can let you know their earliest appointment time.
Each clinician has a unique policy regarding communication through phone and email, which will be explained to you when you become a new patient. In general, you can reach out to any Flourish provider using your patient portal messenger. To do this, log in to your Optimantra patient portal and click on the “Messages” tab.
Each clinician may need two business days to respond to your inquiry. Please inform the office if you have not heard back from your clinician after two business days. We will notify your clinician that you are attempting to reach them. In an emergency, please contact 911 or go to your local emergency room.
Please request a refill by sending your clinician a message through your patient portal. Your providers will need five business days’ notice to refill your medication in a timely manner.
Our office has no-shows and missed appointment fees. These fees differ depending on the specialty of your clinician. Contact the office for the details.
You can cancel your appointment by contacting your clinician and letting them know or by calling our office at 301-570-4050.
You can add a new card on file by calling our office or by completing a “credit card on file form” in your patient portal. If needed, our office can also send you the form.
Your Flourish provider can communicate with your doctors only if you sign a “Flourish consent for release of information form.” If you need to obtain a form, contact the office!
When family members share the same email address in our system, Optimantra, you will use the same login information (with the email as your username) to access each portal. After logging in, you will be prompted to provide a name and date of birth. This information is required to access each individual account.
