Flourish’s team is carefully curated by the owner, Andrea Lopes. Andrea’s greatest goal for Flourish Counseling is to have a team of professionals that offer a wide spectrum of mental health treatments for all ages. We have a strong team of clinicians, including psychotherapists, child psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, and acupuncturists. We also offer life coaching, breathwork, reiki, craniosacral therapy, and mindful art classes.

For this reason, Andrea provides FREE 30-minute consultations with all interested new patients. During these confidential 30 minutes, Andrea offers you the opportunity to express what is troubling you in a secure and safe space. She will then discuss your treatment options at Flourish and make specific recommendations based on your unique needs. 30 minutes of professional consultation, free of charge, is a unique and valuable experience for all patients of Flourish. We hope you leave this consultation feeling inspired and hopeful, knowing that your goals can be met.
4)Peaceful, comfortable location
Flourish is not located in a stuffy office building that feels cold and unappealing. We are located in the downtown Sandy Spring area in a charmingly old house. The house has three floors, containing hidden staircases, cozy nooks, and a hand-painted upper floor that has been turned into a children’s haven and playroom. The household feel contributes to the feeling of warmth and comfort, which is an integral aspect of our services. Especially for young children or teenagers, who may be nervous and vulnerable, the home environment provides a level of familiarity that you would not find at a typical office that would be reminiscent of a “doctor’s office.” Finally, the kindness of our staff does not go unnoticed.
