Ekundayo (Dayo) Sogbesan is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and her Bachelors in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Morgan State University. Dayo enjoys working with the youths, adults, and family helping them to create exploits. She believes true healing comes from understanding who we are as individuals and learning new skills and professional collaborative processes to increase self-awareness and gain new life perspectives.
Dayo has worked with individuals and families from different backgrounds as she provides genuine and open space for every client to be who they choose to be in life. Dayo’s therapeutic approach is to provide support and counseling to help clients effectively address life changes. She works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, disruptive behaviors, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and trauma. Throughout her work experience, she thrives on creating a safe space for clients to express themselves without judgment to learn and heal freely. She is committed to helping individuals and families learn from a strength-based approach to living a healthier life. Her goal is to help every individual become their best self and reach their highest potential. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is the core of her practice.
