ALEX FLYNN

Alex Flynn, LCSW-C
Hello! My name is Alex Flynn, LCSW-C
I work with clients ages 12 through adulthood who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and body image concerns. My approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and curiosity. I believe therapy should feel like a supportive conversation—one where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change.
I draw from traditional talk therapy, client-centered approaches, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and mindfulness techniques to help you better understand yourself and build healthier ways of coping. I tailor each session to meet your unique needs and goals, always working at your pace.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University in 2020 and bring over 8 years of experience working in hospitals, community outreach, and—over the last four years—in private practice. These experiences have deepened my ability to connect with clients in a way that feels genuine and grounded.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me spending time with my family, walking with my golden retriever, Basil, reading a good book, heading to the beach, or baking something sweet.
I offer sessions both virtually and in-person, two days a week. If you are ready to start your therapy journey, I would love to chat!
